one time I checked out an apartment to rent in a shitty area and the fire alarm was beeping. I said "it doesn't always do that right?" and the landlord was like "uhhh no promises."

Lots of traced panels from IDW it seems and styles change drastically when using original animated portions. You should focus on crafting a style that would be easily unified as to not have constant drops and flickers in quality. Hope this project works out for you
